The indexes on this website are being compiled using Church of England and non-conformist registers of baptisms, marriages, banns and burials.
Whenever possible, original registers are consulted, on microfilm or fiche supplied by local studies libraries or record offices. When that is not possible, reliable transcripts are used, done by individuals or by family history societies and similar suppliers.
